Good Bye

This would be my last posting on Antony’s Mobile Blog. I will not blog here anymore.
Why do I decide to stop blogging here? As some of you may know that I am currently working in one of the mobile phones manufacturers. Although I have written disclaimer in the About page that everything written here is purely my personal rants, there might still be a conflict of interests. People may think that this blog is related to the company where I’m working.
In order to avoid any further conflicts, it’s better if I just close the chapters of this blog.
PS: I am still maintaining two other blogs, i.e. Antony’s Life Blog and S60Tips.com. The first one is about my life (unless you know me in person, this may not be interesting for you). The second one is about tips, tricks and tutorials of using S60 phones (a.k.a. multimedia computers).

Antony,
I’m so sorry to see it happening. I’ve been a regular reader and sometimes contributor to your blog. I’ll be missing your insights, however, I understand your decision.

Conflicts with your boss, or conflicts with the readers?
I’m sure your company, as a whole, would benefit greatly from you to continue this - and there are quite a many people (including me) who would love to see this blog continue.

@Tommi: Thanks for the concern. It is a dilemma. When you work for a company and blog something related to the company’s business; there might be some people who are not happy -> especially when you write something “bad”.
You won’t be comfortable either when someone from your company is “watching” your blog. When you make a “wrong” move, then….
That’s why, I think it would be better for me to close this blog. Even though you mentioned that my company may benefit from the blog; there are some people from inside the company who think otherwise.

Actually I like to see posts which is neutral about wireless industry. Too bad this blog is discontinued…….

Tommi has rightly said, I don’t think so company would have any loss from your blogging, instead will be a great benefit. And yes, after having an Argus eye on blog, I think it shouldn’t be discontinued!
