Blog Action Day
News October 15th. 2007, 8:54pmI have posted similar posting a couple of months ago, Save Our Planet. Since today (October 15), bloggers around the web unite to put a single important issues about environment, I’ll “re-post” the same message. The aim this “Blog Action Day” is to save our planet for a better future.
As mobile device users, what can we do to save our planet?
- Don?t leave chargers plugged in. After charging your device, remove it from the electric socket. Unfortunately there is no chargers for S60 devices that support automatic on/off switch (or is there one?)
- Recycle old devices. Some manufacturers have initiatives of taking back devices from their customers for recycling. See some links at the end of this blog.
- Let your PC gets some sleep. Turn your PC on only when you need it.
If you are interested to find out more information about energy saving actions, please download a free booklet from Greenpeace, How to Save the Climate.
