		<description>In case of N80 I can say that you can just press the middle navigation (5 way button) and open applications in 1 keypress depending on which direction you press. So you can assign 4 applications there too.</description>

		<description>Actually in the applications menu case, you can use the numeric keypad (1 - 9 and also * 0 # if the menu screen has four rows) to immediately launch the application. 

E.g. in your example you could open the recorder just with two key presses: one for applications key and one for &quot;9&quot;.
