Well I think this process is only in USA, coz from third country like nepal conference to usa and nepal is more expensive then direct calling any ideas dude…

I have downloaded EQO mobile client on my mobile handset S60 3230. I have wap connection and this is not connecting to server. is their any solution to this

@Gerard: For receiving call, (as far as I know), the caller will contact Skype. Skype will then call your mobile phone using normal GSM network.

I don’t understand it yet, cause if you say that GPRS is only for signaling???, where is the PDP context?. It should be supported by GPRS…, or how do you received voice call data?

@George: EQO will not use GPRS to do VoIP calling. It uses GPRS for signalling only and it requires only very small amount of data. I’ve been using it and I don’t see a huge increase in my phone bill. If we use GPRS for voice calling too, then yes we’ll definitely be surprise seeing our phone bill…

It gets to the Skype by connecting to a server. This server then connects EQO client on the PC, which will then activate Skype.
